Nail Tek Salon

Nail Tek Salon is a nail salon in English Village in Mountain Brook, Alabama. The salon has recently renovated its space.

Manicures begin with trimming, shaping, buffing, cuticle grooming and a lotion massage. The gel manicure finishes with gel polish cured under an LED light, which the salon says lasts two to three weeks. The SNS manicure applies an organic dipping powder polish instead, which the salon says lasts three to four weeks and is made with calcium and vitamins A, D and E. The salon recommends the SNS option for clients with weak nails.

The deluxe pedicure includes a foot massage with a mango sugar scrub, a white tea masque and a hot towel wrap, along with the standard nail work. The signature hot stone pedicure starts with an aromatic sea salt soak and adds a sugar scrub, a mud masque, a hydrating massage butter, a hot stone massage and a hot towel wrap. Clients choose one of four scents for that service: Olive Sensation, Charcoal Power Detox, Green Tea Detox or Lavender Relieve.

The salon accepts walk-ins and can accommodate large groups. It also hosts events such as birthdays, bridal showers and company retreats, which are booked by reservation. Event and group inquiries and appointments are handled through the contact page on the salon's website, and gift cards can be bought online. According to the salon, its staff are well trained and have many years of experience serving a wide range of clients.
