New clients start with a phone consultation that covers services, recommendations, customized options and scheduling. Appointments are required and are usually booked about a week ahead, though openings sometimes come up sooner. Walk-ins are not accepted, a credit card is saved on file to schedule services, and standing appointments are offered at three-week intervals only. Cancellations with less than one week's notice are charged $10, cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are charged $30, and arriving more than 15 minutes late counts as a no-show. Holiday appointments carry a $30 booking fee that applies to the service. Bookings are made by phone or text at (586) 260-2827.
A pedicure is $60 and includes shaping, cuticle care, callus smoothing, a heel masque and a foot and leg massage. The spa pedicure adds scrub exfoliation, a brush-on masque and a hot towel wrap. Extra Callous Care with LCN Urea is a $16 add-on for very dry skin and calluses, and at-home care with the LCN 40% Urea cream is recommended afterward. Wedding and special event clients are encouraged to send photos of their garments and accessories ahead of time so designs can be planned, and some designs can be prepared in advance if time allows.
Tools that can be sanitized are washed with antibacterial soap and water, then fully immersed in hospital-grade disinfectant. Tools that cannot be sanitized are single-use and discarded after each client. Chairs, tables, sinks and gel lamps are sanitized after every client, floors are cleaned daily, and the pedicure chair uses the pipe-less Footsie Bath system with single-use disposable liners.
She assesses each client's nail concerns, explains what she finds and plans a nail routine suited to the client's lifestyle, with the aim of keeping natural nails in the best possible condition.
Services are performed in a private, relaxing and clean setting.
