Visits are by appointment only, in a calm, professional setting. Cut and styling prices depend on the stylist chosen, and the salon notes that listed prices may change without notice.

Weave installation is the salon's stated specialty. It uses weaves the salon describes as undetectable and blending seamlessly, and it says its extensions will not shed or tangle. Extension hair is 100 percent human hair in several textures, sold in the salon; in 2008 the team visited factories in India to source premium hair. According to the salon, it is known for one of the best silk presses in NYC, and Ebony.com named it among the city's top salons for weaves and stitch braids.

In 2024 the salon was picked as one of Beauty Launchpad's 25 Under 50K winners, and that publication ran a feature on it in its September/October 2024 issue. The salon also took part in the Wells Fargo Equitable Access Boost Camp, a business accelerator lasting 12 weeks. It works with the Industry Scholars Program, hosting students for internship sessions, and team members have spoken at Career Day at Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School.
