Sugaring is the core of the practice. Each visit begins with a consultation about skin type and concerns. Sugar paste is made by hand for every appointment from sugar, lemon and water, with no chemicals or synthetics. It is applied at body temperature and pulled in the direction hair grows. The business says sugaring is gentler on sensitive skin and leads to fewer ingrown hairs than waxing, and its FAQ notes that sugar paste is hygienic because bacteria do not multiply in high sugar concentrations.
Clients are asked to let hair grow to about a quarter inch before a visit and to wait roughly three to four weeks between treatments. Results typically last three to five weeks. Payment is taken at the appointment by cash, Cash App, Venmo or Apple Pay. A card is kept on file at booking and is charged only for cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment.
Some practical notes: sugaring should be avoided on areas treated with topical retinoids such as Retin-A, Differin or Tazorac, and clients may prefer to book outside their menstrual period, when skin can be more sensitive. Brazilian service is not offered to men, while men can book back sugaring, priced by the amount of hair. According to the FAQ, sugaring is suitable for teenagers.
Sugaring is done with a handmade paste that is pulled in the direction of growth and applied at body temperature, with no chemicals or synthetics.
