Mystic Skin

Mystic Skin is a skin care studio in Mesa, Arizona, set within the Las Sendas Salon Suites at Power and Thomas. Clients can book online through the services page at any time, and the business is easiest to reach by text or email. The studio is open Monday from 4:30 to 6 PM, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 AM to 1:30 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. It is closed on Wednesday and Sunday.

The menu centers on facials. A customized facial for new clients runs 60 minutes and begins with a double cleanse and steam, then moves through customized enzyme masks, extractions, treatment masks and finishing products. Existing clients can book a customized organic facial with Eminence products, or add dermaplaning. Shorter options include 30-minute express facials, a 40-minute teen facial with a probiotic clarifying mask and high frequency (not offered to teens with braces), and a 75-minute PCA Deluxe Facial for dull, dry or weathered skin, which is not suited to sensitive or acne-active skin. Energy Facial is a 90-minute organic facial with Reiki during the mask. Facials are offered to men and children.

Peel and treatment work includes PCA chemical peels, a PCA Derma-Peel that combines a double cleanse, extractions if needed, dermaplaning and a peel, and microneedling using fine sterile needles with Eminence peptide products. A series of six customized PCA peels is listed at $480. Waxing is done with soy-based Nufree wax for brows, upper lip, chin, underarms and Brazilian (for females). Lash lift and tint, lash tint, and brow tint options are also offered.

Booking comes with several policies to know. A card is needed to hold an appointment, and nothing is charged until the service is finished unless a late cancellation triggers a 30% fee. Cancellations need to be made within 24 hours by contacting the business. New clients booking Energy Facial, Reiki or microneedling pay a deposit of $75, $50 or $70. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000 with approval before the appointment. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late are not seen, so texting ahead to move or reschedule is recommended.

Retail is available in person, with Eminence Organic Skincare as an authorized retailer. A 30-minute skin analysis and product recommendations can be arranged when shopping. The owner also sells handmade gemstone bracelets and a custom herbal clearing spray, both infused with Reiki energy.

States that self care matters and that feeling well inside shows on the outside. Pairs Eminence organic products with clinical peel work, and adds Reiki or chakra-focused sessions for clients who want them.
