My Salon Suite Germantown

My Salon Suite is a suite rental business for beauty and wellness professionals who want their own private space rather than a chair in a shared salon. Each suite is independently owned and operated, and each suite owner sets their own hours, determines their own prices and chooses which services to offer.

The Hyattsville location is on the second floor of Belcrest Center Drive, above a Staples and near an LA Fitness, across from The Mall at Prince George's. It is close to the Prince George's Plaza Metro Station on the Green Line and serves Prince George's County and nearby Laurel, Maryland.

Membership includes furnished suites, 24/7 secure access and a secure entry intercom system. Suites can be personalized and offer privacy, and the company points to cross-promotion between suite owners as a benefit of the setup.

Clients book services directly with each independent professional through that professional's profile on the site, so the booking relationship sits with the suite owner rather than with the company. The company states it takes no commission splits from the professionals who rent suites.

The company also offers a Business of One Program, described as a guide for running a solo business, along with a My Salon Suite app. It offers franchise ownership and includes a donation option for St. Jude on its website.

Suite owners run their own businesses, setting hours, prices and services, and the company states it takes no commission splits from them. The company describes its policies as eco-conscious.

The company describes the setting as a supportive community of creatives.
