My Lucky Brows

My Lucky Brows is owned by Diana and offers brow and lash services at one location in Uptown Whittier. Services are grouped into brows, lashes and packages, and each has a set price and appointment length.

Brow appointments start with a consultation and brow mapping, followed by shaping with wax or tweezers and a massage. The Brow Wax Sculpt is the entry option at $30 and takes 30 minutes, and it can finish with a fill-in or a highlight. Clients with sensitive skin can choose the Brow Tweeze Sculpt, which skips wax and uses precise tweezing, trimming and a complimentary massage. Shaping can also be paired with a tint, a stain, or a three-step lamination that sets brow hairs in place.

Lash work centers on the Korean Lash Lift, which lifts and curls natural lashes from the root at the base. Aftercare is included. The salon says the service puts lash health first, and results are described as lasting 6 to 8 weeks.

Booking comes with a few rules. Services carry a deposit: $10 for the Brow Wax Sculpt, $20 for most other services and $40 for the Lucky Girl Combo. Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of an appointment incur a 50% fee, though exceptions may apply. Brows must stay dry for 24 hours after lamination or tint, and lashes for 5 hours after a lash lift. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or a custom value, and they are final sale. The studio is open Tuesday through Thursday from noon to 8 PM, Friday from noon to 6 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM, and is closed Sunday and Monday.
