My Love Story

The shop has operated as My Love Story since 2006, after previously being known as beautylounge. Owner Illyne Ganley founded the business and curates its jewelry collection, and before opening it spent thirteen years in a managerial role at Frederic Fekkai.

The shop mixes jewelry, art, home goods, fragrance and beauty services under one roof. The jewelry ranges from everyday pieces and statement rings to antique pieces and work from modern independent designers. A rotating group of Marrakech pieces, handmade by local artisans and chosen by the owner on trips there, sits alongside pieces that stay in stock.

Ear piercing covers ears, noses, navels and more, in 30-minute sessions held every other Friday by appointment. Permanent jewelry is custom-welded chain with no clasp, starting at $65 and booked on the same schedule. Haircuts are by appointment in 45-minute slots, and brow sculpting is offered in 30-minute visits once a month.

Gallery wall design is a bespoke service. It starts with a phone call about the client's space, style, color palette and mood, and no appointment is needed. Clients can review, swap and refine pieces from a curated group of original art, and the layout is planned for spacing and balance before the business hangs the wall. Upcycling reworks existing jewelry into new pieces and begins with a conversation, sometimes with photos.

The business describes its beauty team as elite professionals with talent from New York. Hours are Monday 11am to 5pm, Tuesday to Friday 10am to 5:30pm, and Saturday 10am to 5pm, with Sunday closed. Gallery wall inquiries are taken by email at Info@mylovestorynj.com.
