Musea Makeup Bar was founded by Dorka Jones and Ashley Snell and has studios in Nashville and Old Town Scottsdale. The Nashville studio is on 11th Avenue North in the Capitol View neighborhood near the Gulch, and the studio says it is the first makeup bar in Nashville. The company also states that it works with every skin tone.

Visits are built around glam sessions in a few set lengths. Natural Glam runs 45 minutes, Soft Glam 60 minutes and Bold Glam 75 minutes, with Scottsdale prices a few dollars higher than Nashville. Bridal Glam is a two-hour session offered in Nashville for $349, and Scottsdale bridal work covers trials, day-of appointments and on-location service across the Valley. The studio says every artist has either worked with celebrity clientele or trained directly under Dorka Jones.

For groups, The Oasis VIP room is a private room with champagne on arrival and a dedicated team of artists. Ultimate Glam in a private suite starts at $375 for up to five people and takes about 2.5 hours, with complimentary drinks, premium lashes and 20 percent off studio products. Bachelorette VIP Glam starts at $925 for the bride and up to seven guests, with champagne for guests 21 and over, body glow, eye patches and extended lashes; additional guests are $99 each. Rent Out Musea starts at $1,500 for the whole studio with Soft or Full Glam and lashes for up to 12 guests, and on-location travel for Bachelorette VIP Glam is quoted individually.

Regulars can join a Becoming a Muse membership. Levels range from Classic Muse, one glam a month for $89, up to Endless Muse, one glam a day for $1,999 a month. The studio says Muses save 15 to 25 percent compared with booking individual appointments. Memberships are month to month, billed automatically to the card on file and renewed until canceled, and cancellation requires an email at least five days before the next billing date. The Founding Muse rate starts at $89 and stays locked while the member remains a Muse. The Nashville Glamour Pass, three glams a month for $279, is available only at the Nashville studio.

Prepaid Musea Series packages are transferable and do not expire: six glams for $436 or eleven glams for $763. Buy Two, Get One Free gives three Natural, Soft or Bold glams for $218 and is good for six months from purchase. Monthly deals refresh each month, with Muses and newsletter subscribers getting first access. Gift cards and promotional credits have no cash value. Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 12 hours ahead, and late cancellations or no-shows are charged 50 percent of the service.

The studio says it works with every skin tone and offers looks from natural to bold, with sessions sized to the occasion.
