MUA Trend is run by Evgeniya, a makeup artist and hairstylist with seven years of work in the Northern Virginia area. Because the service comes to the client, each booking takes place wherever the look is needed.

Event and wedding packages bundle makeup with either a hairstyle or curled hair. The wedding packages come in two versions, one with a trial session included and one without. Individual makeup, hair and class options are priced separately.

Makeup classes cover skin preparation, foundation and powder, contouring and blush, and highlighter and lipstick. Event makeup includes skin preparation, skin tone evening, contouring, eye looks such as smoky, cat eye or winged, and a highlighter and lipstick finish. Wedding makeup adds priming, eyeliner, mascara and makeup fixation.

Appointments are by appointment only, and clients should book at least two weeks ahead of the event date. Deposits are due at booking and vary by service, with the full balance paid on the day of the event. The client is asked to provide a safe work area with good lighting and nearby electrical outlets, and brushes, tools and makeup are sanitized between applications. Parking, tolls, valet and event travel costs are paid by the client, and locations outside a three-mile radius of the Edsall Rd. address carry a mileage fee quoted on inquiry.
