The salon works with all hair textures, from coily and curly to wavy. Its curly services are done on dry hair, so clients are asked to arrive with hair dry, cleansed, conditioned and detangled, with little styling product, in its natural curl state. Deva Curl services include style sessions, haircuts, deep conditioning, the Bounce Back transformation, and haircuts combined with color or highlights, and the salon lists color matching and curl design among them. The Mop Luxury Curly Cut includes a custom Hair Repair Treatment along with the signature curl cut. The salon describes its curly services as welcoming to people of every race, gender and age.

Package prices are starting-at prices, and each service is adjusted to the guest's hair and goals. Online booking is preferred because the salon has no receptionist and staff cannot take calls while with clients; anyone wanting to discuss a booking can leave a voicemail and a team member will call back. Late arrivals are accommodated when possible, but appointments may be shortened or rescheduled. Changes need 24 hours' notice, and late cancellations or no-shows are charged the full cost of the appointment. Reminder emails and texts are sent, but clients should not rely on them.

Children under 6 are not permitted at appointments, and clients are asked not to bring companions because the waiting room is small. Pets are not allowed in the building except service animals. The salon accepts cash, checks and major credit cards.

Services are guaranteed, and complimentary adjustments can be requested within 7 days of the original service; later adjustments are charged in full. Adjustments are not offered for style or color changes from what was discussed, for home color, or for work done at other salons, and corrective color and Brazilian Blowouts are not guaranteed. Product returns receive full credit toward another product or a gift card, and hair dryers, curling irons and flat irons can be returned within 14 days in their original box. Custom ordered hair extensions cannot be returned or exchanged.
