Each campus is set up like a working salon, and students perform services on clients from their local communities under the supervision of licensed instructors. Clients can expect haircuts, hair styling, color and highlights, perms and texture work, hair extensions, facials, manicures, pedicures, makeup application and waxing. Hair services are priced from a stated starting amount that depends on hair length and density and includes shampoo and conditioning, and non-styling services include a basic blow dry. Not every specialty service is offered at every campus, and color correction requires a consultation and a signed estimate first. Walk-ins are welcome at some campuses, while others need an appointment, which can be booked by calling that campus directly.

The Cosmetology program totals 1500 hours and can be completed in as few as 12 months. Coursework spans hair color, cutting, perms, chemical relaxing and styling, nail technology, skin care, salon management, anatomy and physiology, chemistry, and client communication, with added emphasis on business skills, interpersonal skills and professional behavior. Graduates are prepared for the State Board of Cosmetology licensing exam. During the first 400 hours, weekday sessions run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Afterward, students may stay on that timetable or switch to a 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. day to finish sooner. The schools teach with the Pivot Point Learning System, which has digital components. Students who purchase a kit receive textbooks, shears, combs and brushes for their coursework.

The group is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences, which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Admission requires a completed application, proof of high school graduation or an equivalent, and an interview with the admissions team. Federal grants, loans and payment plans are available to eligible students, and a financial aid team helps with applications. New classes start monthly, and prospective students can tour a campus before enrolling. Beyond training, the schools say they help with state board exam preparation, job placement and marketing strategies, and that continuing education keeps faculty and staff current on techniques and trends.

Training combines hands-on salon work with business skills, people skills and professional conduct, with an aim of preparing students for a possible new career and building quality workmanship.
