Monico Wellness & Aesthetics is a small facial studio in Room 3 of WIN Athletic Club on Chestnut Avenue in Glenview. The work is built around four facials, each with a different focus: gua sha for tension and facial contours, microneedling for skin renewal, microcurrent for toning and lifting, and dermaplaning combined with a peel and hydrating mask for a treatment with little to no downtime.

The Let's Glow! Gua Sha Radiance & Renewal Facial runs 60 or 90 minutes and uses gua sha stones to ease tension, sculpt the contours of the face and encourage lymphatic drainage. The Reformer Microcurrent Facial uses the Triawave device with low-level electrical stimulation to tone and lift facial muscles, and is recommended as a series of at least three sessions spaced one to four weeks apart. The Poker Face Microneedling Facial uses controlled micro-injuries to stimulate collagen production and skin renewal, and is usually planned as three to four treatments six to eight weeks apart.

The studio is set up for a comfortable visit, with fresh linens, a warmed bed, heated wraps, cold water and calming music. The room has a modern boho look with natural oak, creamy textures, living plants and touches of neon pink.
