The practice was founded by Dr. Barbara Wachs, who opened it after years of practice on Madison Avenue, and it focuses on teeth whitening and Invisalign. Whitening is a single session of about an hour in the spa's treatment studio. A hydrogen peroxide gel is activated by light, which the business says is laser light with no UV emission, and the gel comes with a protective barrier for the gums and a desensitizing agent to ease sensitivity during treatment. No eating or drinking is required beforehand. For the next 24 hours, only clear and white foods and drinks are advised. Most clients return about every six months, and results can last six months or more with aftercare products, depending on diet and product use.

Invisalign treatment begins with a 3D digital scan, which is used to produce a series of clear, BPA-free plastic aligner trays. The aligners are removable, so eating and brushing continue as usual during treatment. A complimentary consultation with Dr. Wachs is offered.

An appointment, including paperwork, preparation and aftercare instructions, takes about one hour and 15 minutes. Whitening is offered to clients 13 years and older. It is not recommended during pregnancy, nursing clients are asked to check with their OB or pediatrician first, and clients should wait at least four weeks after lip or facial fillers before whitening. The practice is open Tuesday through Saturday, and closed Sunday and Monday.
