Modern Muse Salon

Modern Muse Salon describes its services as luxury, customized hair work from a professional and experienced team. Its specialties are dimensional blondes, lived-in color, extensions and customized styles, and clients can book a haircut, grey coverage, highlights, balayage, a men's cut, a blowout or an extension service.

Stylists are grouped into three pricing tiers: Junior, Senior and Owner. Current service prices are listed on the salon's Instagram under its Pricing tab.

New clients complete a New Client Form before booking and are asked for two photos of their current hair, front and back, plus one inspiration photo. Existing clients and regular guests can book online, and anyone with a question can text the salon before booking. A card must be kept on file to hold an appointment.

Color services take time: highlights, balayage and bleach and tone can run from 2.5 to 5 hours from start to finish. The salon notes that some hair goals take more than one session and may not be fully reached depending on the condition of the hair. Clients 15 or more minutes late may still be seen if the schedule allows, with an added $30 for each 15 minutes.

The salon is open Monday through Saturday with varying hours, and it is closed on Sundays. Cancellations made more than 48 hours ahead carry no fee, while later cancellations and no-shows carry fees listed in the booking policy.
