The menu falls into three groups. Hair design covers haircuts, bang trims, blow dries, iron work and treatments. Hair color covers single process color, highlights, balayage and custom blonding, with toner and a non-ammonia add-on available. The salon offers low-ammonia and ammonia-free color lines that are PPD-free. Color services include a complimentary blow dry, and clients who are unsure what to book can request a complimentary consultation. Special occasion styling covers special events, bridal trials, bridal finals and bridal party styling, with on-location or on-site appointments for an added fee. Those services are not sold with a blow dry, and clients are asked to arrive with clean, dry hair. The menu notes that services vary with each stylist's experience and expertise.

Booking is available online for select services through the salon's booking page, which runs on the Boulevard platform. New clients need a credit card on file to schedule. Changes or cancellations need 24 hours' notice; shorter-notice cancellations are charged half the appointment, and no-shows without notice are charged the full service fee. Late arrivals have a 15-minute grace period. A client who is not satisfied with a service can request a re-do at no charge within two weeks. Products are guaranteed, unused products can be returned within 60 days for a full refund, and used products can be returned for retail credit. Young children are asked to attend only when they have a scheduled appointment. Gift cards are sold in the salon and as e-gift cards online, and a referral program is offered.

The salon and front desk are open Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm, with Saturday hours ending at 5pm. Sundays and Mondays are kept free for classes, maintenance and improvements. Parking includes three-hour metered spaces on Shattuck Avenue and part of Lincoln Street, and free one- or two-hour spaces on nearby side and neighborhood streets. Guests can be offered coffee, tea, sparkling or bottled water, wine, champagne or light snacks.

The salon says it invests in its stylists with paid outside-educator classes two to three times a year, held in-salon or at other locations, and a weekly in-salon program of cut and color classes led by master stylists. Stylists are paid hourly plus monthly retail commissions of 10%, 12% or 15% and incentives. The salon says it offers flexible schedules and access to health, dental and 401k benefits for stylists.
