Samori is the Master Loctician behind the studio, with 24 years of experience working with locs. The business describes its stylist as having that experience in all things locs, and the menu is built around that single focus.

Booking requires a deposit to hold an appointment. The deposit is nonrefundable unless the stylist cancels, and it can be moved once when rescheduling, after which a new deposit is needed. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice and forfeit the deposit. Payment is due in full before service, and no refunds are given once an appointment is complete. Clients have a 15-minute grace period, after which a $15 late fee applies, and arriving more than 15 minutes late cancels the appointment with the remaining balance charged. If the stylist runs late, the client may deduct $15 from the service price. The stylist reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Visit lengths vary widely. Loc removal and comb-out is a 24-hour service, while Hydrate Me! takes four hours for fully mature locs and loose naturals. Microloc and transfer clients need a consultation first. Microloc installs are priced by length, starting with the first three inches and adding a set amount per inch beyond that. Starter locs over six inches also need a consultation, and braid removal should be discussed by text before booking.
