MNBraidslayer

MNBraidslayer is a braiding business at 810 Lilac Drive North in Golden Valley, Minnesota. It works by appointment only and does not take walk-ins. The braiders listed with it are Brittany, Kay, Morgan and Taeja, and some of them set their own booking terms.

The gallery shows feed-in, kids, natural hair, crochet, dread and box braid styles. Taeja braids with X-Pression pre-stretched hair and also does wig work. Kay includes 1B braiding hair in all braiding styles unless stated otherwise. Wig clients bring their own lace closure or frontal and a matching color foundation 24 hours before the appointment.

Booking requires a 50% deposit, which is applied to the final cost. The remaining balance can be paid on the day of the appointment by credit, cash, Cash App, Venmo or PayPal, though Kay's balance is cash only on that day. A pack of hair with more than one bundle counts each bundle as one pack.

Hair should arrive washed, blow dried as straight as possible, free of product and detangled. Extra preparation can be arranged for an additional payment if it is booked with the appointment. Late-arrival rules differ by braider, so check the terms for the person you book.

Space is limited, so extra people and children who are not receiving service are not allowed. A child who will not sit still ends the appointment without a refund. Booking a different service than intended cancels the appointment and forfeits the deposit. The business also sells the MNBraidslayer growth serum and apparel through its Amazon storefront, and its pre-stretched hair is stocked at 7 Mile Beauty Supply, Coco's beauty supply and Earths, though not at Sally's.
