Owner Marianne Kehoe has worked in skin care for more than 30 years and has welcomed clients at MK Skin Studio for the past 13 years. The business operates from two locations, one on Tujunga Avenue in Studio City and one on Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica.

Each facial begins from one of three base treatments, and the rest is tailored during the session to the skin's condition, the client's goals and how the skin responds that day. Add-ons can be chosen alongside a base facial without a prior consultation. The studio says it avoids preset formulas and excessive add-ons.

Facial options include the signature MK IDERM Facial Treatment, which uses galvanic current to move vitamins and minerals into the skin and supports hydration and circulation. The MK Magic Wand Facial Rejuvenation uses microcurrent to stimulate facial muscles, the MK Lymphatic Drainage Facial is a gentle option aimed at fluid retention, and the MK Trifusion Skin Ritual combines three technologies to nourish, repair and revitalize the skin.

Light and infrared offerings include LightStim Pro Panel low-level red light therapy, MK Light Therapy Enhancement, 30-minute automated Prism Light Pad sessions, Sunlighten infrared sessions and an MK infrared sauna experience. Whole-body options include FULL BODY PRISM, a 30-minute automated full-body light session, and Fountain of Uth, a warm ultra-fine mist with full spectrum lighting. The Fountain of Uth booth mist contains mineral ions including platinum, gold, silver, copper, zinc and magnesium.

Bookings are made through Vagaro online or by email or phone. Appointment changes or cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and late cancellations, missed appointments or arrivals more than 15 minutes late without notice forfeit a $75 deposit. Clients are asked to arrive about 10 minutes early and to call or text (818) 606-5200 if running late, and late arrivals may mean a shortened or rescheduled treatment. Studio City is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 5pm, and Santa Monica is open Tuesday and Friday 11:30am to 6pm, according to the contact page.
