Mist Beauty Loft

Mist Beauty Loft is a hybrid salon. Its own artists work alongside artists who rent space in the loft, and clients can book with either. Veronica, the owner and an Elite Stylist, created the space. The salon describes it as peaceful and welcoming, with a luxury feel.

Services are grouped into Consultation, Self-Care, From Scalp to Strand total hair wellness, and Weddings. A free 30-minute consultation covers the result a client wants and their hair goals. A $20 strand test is charged only if the stylist needs one afterward. Color is formulated by each artist and covers grey coverage, dimensional blondes, rich brunettes and shine work.

Add-ons can be combined with most services. A $25 conditioning treatment moisturizes and strengthens hair. Nourish & Grow, a $25 add-on, uses the Natulique anti-hair loss system, which the salon describes as certified organic. Repair & Revive is a $50 bond-repair treatment for color-treated or fragile hair. The $30 Scalp Facial is available only with a blowout and cannot be combined with color or highlights; it includes a consultation, scalp analysis, brushing, shampoo and an exfoliating scalp treatment. The 3-in-1 Modern Color Refresh combines color, cleanse and conditioner in one and comes in eight shades, priced at $25 as a blowout add-on.

Smoothing systems start at $230 for Inca Glow, which lasts three to six months depending on home care and has no aftercare restrictions. Magic Sleek starts at $330, is formaldehyde-free and lasts up to six months depending on home care. Bridal hair and makeup is offered on-site or at the salon, with a signed bridal contract required to secure a date. Wedding parties may bring refreshments, and a designated area can be reserved in advance.

Booking is by appointment only, and a valid credit card must be kept on file. Cancellations or changes need at least 48 business hours' notice by text or phone; otherwise a 50% fee applies. No-shows and same-day cancellations are charged the full service price, and arriving more than 15 minutes late may count as a no-show. Guests have 48 hours after a service to request an adjustment, though color corrections and custom colors are excluded. Renting artists set their own prices, policies and schedules, which may differ from the salon's. Payment is accepted by cash, check, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and Venmo.
