Acupuncture visits are based on traditional Chinese medicine and can be combined with Western medical oversight. A first acupuncture visit is a longer appointment, usually 60 to 120 minutes, that includes a history, physical exam and tongue and pulse diagnosis; the clinic's first session is a full 90-minute visit. Follow-up acupuncture sessions typically run 30 to 60 minutes. Virginia law requires either a recent medical exam or a signed acknowledgment form at the first acupuncture visit, and no referral is needed for acupuncture. Non-needle options include moxibustion, acupressure, cupping, e-stim and Gua Sha, and tuina bodywork is offered to people of all ages, including children. Needles are sterile and single-use.

The aesthetic side of the clinic covers cosmetic acupuncture, Virtue RF microneedling, PHYSIQ body contouring, facials, chemical peels and injections. Gezal Shaba's facials are priced at $150 for a 60-minute Essential Facial, $195 for a 90-minute Signature Facial that includes LED light therapy, and $275 for a 120-minute Ultimate Pampering Facial. Chemical peels are $200 for a single treatment or $550 for a package of three, except the Smoothing Body Peel, which is $100 small, $200 medium or $300 large. LED light therapy is $50 per express session or $222 for six, and dermaplaning is $99 as an express treatment or $50 as an add-on to any facial. PCA Skin professional products are sold in clinic at website cost.

The clinic runs a primary care practice alongside a gastroenterology department. The gastroenterology side handles consultations, imaging, upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, esophageal motility testing, acid reflux testing, colon cancer screening, and radiofrequency ablation for Barrett's esophagus. Both primary care and gastroenterology can be seen by telehealth. On billing, the clinic is in network with six major insurers, and staff will confirm whether a specific plan is covered when you call. Flexible spending account and health savings account payments are accepted, and payment plans with 0% interest are available. Medicare and Medicaid do not cover acupuncture at this clinic, although Dr. Alkimawi accepts Medicare for gastroenterology visits.
