Minx Studio operates from a studio space inside The Village on Topanga in Woodland Hills. Appointments are private and one-on-one, and services are shaped around each client's hair type, lifestyle and long-term goals rather than a fixed menu.
Services cover cutting, color and extensions. Haircuts are customized to hair texture, face shape and lifestyle, and a cut usually takes 30 minutes or more. Color options range from demi-permanent gloss for tone, shine or blending grey, to base and all-over color that covers roots, to balayage and highlights in mini, partial or full versions. Platinum work is handled as a bleach and tone process for clients with recent regrowth, while major color changes and creative colors fall under a separate color transformation service that requires a digital consultation first for new clients.
Extension clients start with a FaceTime or virtual consultation. Pricing and policies differ from one stylist to another, so it's best to put questions to the stylist directly. Clients may also book a 20-minute in-person consultation at the studio for $50, or a free 20-minute video consultation over Google Meet or Zoom.
Each stylist sets their own experience, specialties and pricing, and services are tailored to the individual client's hair and goals.
