Mint Nail Lounge Mosaic District

Mint Nail Lounge describes its mission as offering a very hygienic nails and waxing lounge in a calm setting.

Manicures and pedicures come with a fresh disposable emery board, buffer and pumice stone for each service, and disposable tools are thrown away after the appointment unless the client wants to keep them. Metal clippers, pushers and nippers are cleaned through a three-step sterilization process in an autoclave, the type of sterilizer commonly used in dental and medical offices.

Waxing is offered alongside nail services, and massage appointments are available at the Mosaic District and Ballston locations. The salon says its manicures and pedicures are provided by experienced professionals, and it has been named in local best-of lists and featured in Nails Magazine, according to its own website.

Booking can be requested online at any time, and appointment requests are confirmed by phone or email within about 24 hours. Walk-ins are welcome, and same-day appointments are available. Clients are asked to give 24 hours notice to cancel. Gift cards can be bought through the website.

The salon's stated priority is hygiene, with single-use tools for each manicure and pedicure and autoclave sterilization for reusable metal instruments.

The business states that it aims for a calm setting.
