Mikaela Angelique

Mikaela Angelique is a small studio at 3115 E Indian School Rd in Phoenix, owned by licensed esthetician Mikaela. Services fall into three groups: lashes, brows and facials.

On the lash side, clients can choose Classic Lashes, which apply one extension to each natural lash, or Volume Lashes, which use hand-made fans of several extensions at ratios from 3:1 to 6:1 against natural lashes. Extensions are made of cruelty-free synthetic fibers attached individually. The studio describes the application as painless, and says most clients sleep through it. Lash extensions need maintenance every two to three weeks, and aftercare guidance is provided for lash and brow services.

For brows, the studio offers microblading, a semi-permanent technique that draws in hair-like strokes for a fuller look; Ombre Powder Brows, a semi-permanent shading method where the tails are darker and soften lighter toward the front; and Combo Brows, which pair microblading with powder shading and suit sparse brows or those who want more definition. Facials are simple regimes aimed at acne, fine lines and uneven texture.

Booking requires a $30 deposit. Rescheduling needs 24 hours' notice and is done through the link in the booking confirmation text; shorter notice has to be arranged directly with the provider. Same-day bookings made within three hours of the appointment time must be approved by the provider by text or direct message and may be rescheduled. No-call/no-shows and cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the service price, and repeated no-shows can cost booking privileges, with rebooking requiring a deposit. Payment at the visit is accepted by cash, Zelle, PayPal and Apple Pay, with cash preferred; Venmo and Cash App are no longer accepted.

Each service is tailored to the look a client wants, with the goal of enhancing their natural features.
