Midnight Manor Salon

The salon works from room 105 inside Phenix Salon Suites on Ernest Barrett Parkway in Marietta. Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 8pm, Thursday from 10am to 2pm, and Friday and Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

Among its services is the Brazilian blowout, which is a smoothing treatment rather than a straightening one. An express version lasts about four weeks, while the regular version lasts roughly three to six months, depending on hair density, texture and how often the hair is shampooed. A full head of highlights takes about two to three hours, though that can vary.

Booking policies are spelled out in advance. Cancellations or changes need at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a charge of 50% of the booked service, and no-shows are charged the full service amount. Booking means agreeing to the cancellation and refund terms, and refunds are not issued on salon services. Concerns about a service must be raised within 48 hours. A client who is unhappy can come back for an evaluation of their hair, and the salon works to resolve the issue. After a color service, clients are asked to wait 48 hours before shampooing.
