Mia's Beautique is a lash and brow studio located at 1110 Burlingame Avenue, Suite 108, in Burlingame. The business was founded in 2018 in San Bruno and now operates from Burlingame. It describes itself as offering high-end lash extensions and brows.

Each lash and brow service is designed around the individual client, and appointments are kept unhurried so there is time to work toward the result. Services fall into three groups: brows, eyelash extensions and lash lifts. Extension styles include Lush Classic, which places two to four thin extensions on each natural lash for a lighter, fuller look; Hybrid, a blend of 70% volume and 30% classic lashes, suggested for thin or sparse natural lashes; Wet Look, which uses narrow or closed volume fans for a dark, spiky lash line; and Volume, where several fine extensions are fanned and applied to one natural lash. Extensions are not offered on the bottom lashes. The Korean Keratin Lash Lift gives a lasting curl to naturally straight lashes, and a version with tint adds color that makes lashes look darker and fuller. Brow options are Brow Tint and Shaping, Brow Wax and Shaping, Hybrid Tint and Shaping, and Brow Lamination and Shaping, which adds makeup matched to the client.

Visits are by appointment only, and walk-ins are not accepted. Lash extension applications usually take about an hour and a half to three hours, with refills running from 50 minutes to two hours. Refills are recommended every two to three weeks, and lash lifts are repeated every six to eight weeks. Clients are asked to arrive with clean lashes, avoid caffeine and gum before lash services, and keep phones on silent.

The studio also teaches lash lift training, from a one-on-one Keratin Lash Lift and Tint class to live model classes with one or two models. The one-on-one training covers lash lift chemistry, contraindications, curl selection by eye shape, lash tint and avoiding over-processing, and includes lash lift supplies. Enrollment is handled by email or text.
