Skin booster sessions take about an hour, including roughly 20 minutes for numbing cream before injection. Clients receive aftercare instructions, such as avoiding lying down for four hours after neurotoxin treatment and avoiding aspirin, ibuprofen and alcohol for 24 hours after filler. The practice notes that cosmetic injections are not advised during pregnancy, while nursing, or with an active infection in the treatment area.
