MELTED BLONDES

Melted Blondes is a color-focused salon in St. Petersburg. Its services fall under three groups: color, haircuts and a smoothing treatment. The salon is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 PM to 8 PM, Thursday from 10 AM to 2 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, and it is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

First-time clients book a New Client Appointment, a four-hour color service that includes a haircut and style, priced at $425. Existing clients choose from custom color sessions: a partial custom color (180 minutes, $275), a mini partial custom color (120 minutes, $200, with foils at the front hairline and part, available only to clients who had their hair done in the last five months), and a full foil custom color (210 minutes, $350). Full foil is recommended one to two times a year, or seven or more months after the previous blonding appointment. Each of these includes a haircut and style.

Between full appointments, a gloss and tone (60 minutes, $125) adds shine, smooths the cuticle and tones out warmth, and suits blonde or brunette clients who are not ready for a foil touch-up. It contains no foils. Grey coverage (120 minutes, $135) uses custom toner to cover or blend grey hair, and the salon is not currently accepting new clients for it. The Brazilian Blowout (150 minutes, $300) is a temporary smoothing treatment that reduces frizz and adds shine for up to 16 weeks. It must be done with a color service or within two weeks after one.

Haircuts (60 minutes, $85, including a hair mask and style) are for existing clients only and are not accepting new clients. Haircuts are already included in the color services.

Clients are asked to arrive no more than five minutes early. Arriving 20 minutes late results in rescheduling. Cancellations or changes need 48 hours' notice; inside that window, 25% of the service is charged. No-shows are charged 50% of the booked service, though emergencies are excluded from these charges.

Color is planned around how often each client returns, so the timing and type of service suit everyday life.
