Meleesa the Salon was founded in Orange County in 2005 by Meleesa Luna, who also runs the LaB.OTANICA product line. The salon describes itself as a sustainable beauty space, and its work is built on holistic practices meant to balance skin, mind and body.

The menu is organized around sessions rather than a single standard cut. DISCOVER is a one-on-one hair consultation, in salon or by FaceTime, covering hair color suited to facial structure and skin tone, hair shapes and styles, product suggestions for a daily routine and a step-by-step plan for hair goals. Clients receive a mini inspiration mood board within 48 hours, which they can use themselves or share with their current hairstylist. IN-SIGHT is a 60-minute in-salon or FaceTime session that combines grounding, guided meditation, Reiki, oracle guidance and centering exercises.

For a fuller change, the Lunar Haircuts Ritual is an 85-minute in-salon service timed to the lunar cycle. It includes an oracle card pull, crown work, a Reiki-infused scalp massage, gentle exfoliation, a personalized haircut, a cleansing wash, styling with eco-conscious products and botanical drinks. TRANSFORMATION is a 75-minute a la carte session for style and image reinvention, with a card pull, guided visualization, crystals, breathwork, essential oils, a Reiki-infused scalp massage and a conscious hair consultation. An Intuitive Haircut add-on takes 180 minutes.
