The practice began in 2012 with a studio in a heritage-listed bungalow in Double Bay, and the Transvaal Avenue studio has been in that location since then. Studios now operate in Melbourne, West Hollywood, New York and London, with the London studio serving as the flagship there.

Every visit starts with a one-on-one assessment of the skin, and each treatment is shaped around what that reading shows on the day. The business describes its approach as combining current clinical technology and formulations with traditional beauty rituals, which it calls clinical beauty.

The facial menu is organised into several collections. High Tech Facials are the in-studio range, including the Camera Ready, Désincrustation, Hydrating Glow and Power facials and the Bespoke Skin Health Treatment. Organic Facials pair botanical formulations with methods such as diamond microdermabrasion, LED, ultrasound and oxygen. Biologique Recherche facials are personalised to each client's skin and run from 60 to 120 minutes. MG Exclusives are protocols developed with partner brands Augustinus Bader, Biologique Recherche, Valmont and Chanel.

Advanced Clinical Treatments cover lasers, IPL, radiofrequency microneedling, skin tightening, collagen, resurfacing and depigmentation. These begin with a consultation and a personalised plan, and some may require checks with a doctor for certain skin conditions. Laser, IPL and radiofrequency treatments are not offered at the Los Angeles or New York studios. The Sydney studio describes itself as the only studio offering the complete Advanced Clinical menu.
