Melange 2 Salon Gallery was opened in 2017 by Lance and Priscilla Menchaca to serve the Jersey Village and Cypress areas. The business later moved to Pearland after about five years in the North Houston area. The owners also operate Melange Gallery of Salons in Friendswood.
The gallery is built for professionals who want to become salon owners without building a shop from scratch. Hairstylists and estheticians lease their own suites, and each suite comes fully equipped with hydraulic chairs, mirrors, a shampoo sink and a shampoo chair. Tenants can decorate their suites and add their own personal touches.
Suites are fully furnished and accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Utilities are included, the building has a laundry center, and free Wi-Fi is available to suite tenants and their guests. The gallery says it aims for an elegant and relaxing setting for both its professionals and their clients.
The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
