Bookings can be made at the Schaumburg location or through house calls, which Carmelia offers within about 45 minutes' travel each way. She does not travel to Gurnee or Chicago. Travel fees start at $100.
Several services carry deposits: crochet and half braid or half sew-in appointments require a $25 nonrefundable deposit, sew-ins require $150, and cornrows require $15 from new clients. Clients who pay the full balance at booking receive 5% off. Late arrivals of 30 minutes or more add a $25 fee, and cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead are charged half the booked services to the card on file. Gift cards are sold in set amounts or a custom amount, and sales are final.
The Sew-In Maintenance Plan is a monthly membership at $245. It includes one sew-in install, one wash and take-down, and priority booking each month. Members can add a silk press or hydration treatment for $50 more.
