The salon serves clients in Dallas, Arlington, Fort Worth, Addison, DeSoto and Cedar Hill.

Services fall into three groups: color, loc care and styling. Color covers loc color toned to lighten locs and an undercover touch-up that covers roots and grey. Loc care includes steam and oil treatments, a detox bath, palm roll and interlocking maintenance, and repair sessions. Styling ranges from simpler loc cultivation to multi-technique looks, and also includes Marley twists over locs. The salon works on male loc styling, updos and starter locs. It does not maintain sister locs, brother locs or micro locs, and pricing for those is quoted at the appointment.

A visit happens in a private room with a relaxed feel and music playing, including old school R&B and neo soul. Clients get WiFi, complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks. Because the suite has no extra seating, only clients receiving a service can be in the room.

Appointments must be booked online, and a waitlist for services is available through a form on the contact page. Loc color always includes a deep conditioning treatment and requires a consultation. New clients booking the undercover touch-up also need a consultation. Palm roll maintenance every two weeks is not offered to first-time clients. Early bird appointments at 7 a.m. on Thursdays and Fridays carry an extra $50, and Sunday appointments include a $50 Sunday fee. Prices may change if the hair needs more care than average. A no-call, no-show requires half of the booked service as a non-refundable fee and half the total amount to be paid before the next booking; a same-day cancellation requires half the scheduled amount before rebooking. The salon also sells Medusa's Loc Oasis at Home, a hair care line for maintaining loc'd hair.

The salon's stated goal is comfort, consistency and timely service, with every appointment booked in advance.
