Its work centers on health, hormones and intimacy, taken together rather than one symptom at a time.

The clinic says it treats the person rather than a condition, and combines natural treatments, overseen by board certified nurse practitioners, with lifestyle-focused care. A visit starts with a free 30-minute consultation with a Patient Care Consultant, which can be booked online or by phone. Hormone testing is done at an in-house lab, and results are reviewed at an in-clinic visit with an APRN, who builds a personalized plan that may include nutrition and lifestyle changes. Therapy is started only when clinical need is established from lab work, a provider consultation and a complete, current medical history. Care runs in 90-day cycles without a long contract, and written agreements cover care, services, costs, cancellation and patient rights.

MedStudio has three clinics: Minnetonka, in the Carlson Center East II building, which the clinic says is within a 25-minute drive of MSP Airport; Oakdale; and Ham Lake, in Crosstown Mall. Visits are by appointment, Monday through Friday. Office hours are Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm and Friday from 8 am to noon. The clinic does not accept health insurance. It accepts cash, check, HSA, flex plans, ACH, and debit and credit cards, and a 3.99% fee applies to credit card payments and 2.99% to debit card payments. Short-term in-house payment plans are available, along with third-party plans through Cherry that include 0% APR options and no hard credit check. Lab testing costs range from $49 to $1,995 depending on the test, and the clinic gives an average starting cost of $247 for hormone testing. Lab testing and its review are not refundable.

MedStudio is a medical clinic, not a pharmacy. It does not sell, dispense or ship prescription medications. Refill requests are reviewed by a licensed provider and approved only when clinically appropriate, and approved prescriptions go to the pharmacy the patient chooses. The clinic also sells supplements and oils through its store; unopened retail items may be returned for account credit within 28 days if seals are intact, and opened or used products are not eligible.

The clinic describes its approach as focused on root causes and hormone balance rather than symptoms alone, with testing and assessments before a personalized plan is set.
