The business operates from Suite 16 at Sola Salons on Green Springs Highway in Homewood. It is a private salon suite that takes clients by appointment only, open Tuesday through Friday and on Saturday mornings. The salon welcomes all hair textures.

The owner, Misha Mills, is a licensed cosmetologist and educator. The salon says she built her reputation in the Birmingham area through persistence, skill and a focus on exceeding client expectations.

Services fall into a few groups. Crown add-ons layer treatments such as K18 repair, Cécred moisture, protein and hot oil treatments, and scalp cleansing onto a visit, with a steam eye mask included on upgrades. Keratin smoothing, relaxers, cuts and color sit alongside locs, twists, silk presses and curl services. Braiding covers feed-in and stitch braids, knotless and boho styles, passion twists, sew-ins, sleek ponytails and children's braids for grades K through 8. Consultations and a training course for professional stylists are also offered.

Booking comes with clear rules. A consultation is required before new color, arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be rescheduled or charged, and changes need at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations inside that window and no-shows carry fees, and the booking fee is non-refundable. Payment is accepted by cash, credit card and Zelle, and Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings within a set range.
