The menu is built around braiding in many forms: knotless, box and Senegalese braids, micro braids, lemonade braids and Bohemian-style versions, most offered in midback, waist and butt lengths. Feed-in braids are priced by number of layers and style. Sewing, crochet, retwist locks, butterfly and faux locs, kids' ponytail braiding and bridal hair are also offered. Bridal hair and styling is listed at $200, and the final price for bridal work is set after a $50 styling consultation.

Booking works in steps: clients choose a style, select hair length and color add-ons, and pay a deposit at checkout. Booking itself is free, but a $15 fee applies to appointments made within 24 hours of the service. The salon also takes bookings for special events such as birthdays and weddings. Clients meet at the salon at the agreed appointment time.

Hours vary by day. Monday and Wednesday open at 7:30am with a break from 2pm to 2:30pm. Tuesday is closed. Thursday runs 7am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm, Friday 7am to 12:30pm and 1pm to 5pm, Saturday in several blocks up to 10:30pm, and Sunday 3pm to 8pm.

The salon also sells hair styling products from its own line, hair extensions, and gift vouchers that can be redeemed for purchases at the shop. The salon says its products come directly from suppliers and are original.

The salon's stated top goal is quality work, and it says it uses good hair care practices in its braiding.
