Becky Mavrick opened the salon in 2008 after leaving a large salon to start an organic one in central Denver. The aim is to take harsh chemical compounds out of the usual salon visit.
Services fall into five groups: haircuts, hair color, extensions, designer extensions and smoothing. Hair color is biodynamic and holistic only. Extensions include hand-tied 100% human hair Invisible Bead Extensions, and the designer option can be shaped for volume, length, highlights and lowlights. Custom extension pricing requires a 30-minute consultation first. Smoothing treatments are non-toxic and do not straighten, so they suit curly hair.
Precision cuts run one to one and a half hours and include a shampoo, a treatment mask and a blow dry. Men's services are no longer offered, effective December 1, 2025.
Holistic and toxin-free, with color, care and styling products chosen for biodynamic, organic ingredients and free of ammonia, bleach, formaldehyde, sulfates, silicones, synthetic fragrance and parabens, according to the salon.
