Massage Life Studios

Massage Life Studios offers massage, body contouring, post-operative care and skin care from its suite on Crown Centre Drive in Charlotte. It is open from 10am to 7pm and closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Massage services include relaxation and deep tissue sessions, which use firm but gentle pressure on concentrated areas of muscle tension, and a gentle manual lymphatic drainage massage meant to encourage lymph drainage. Post-operative sessions use lymphatic massage for areas treated with liposuction, and the mix of techniques is adjusted to the client's stage of recovery. The salon describes itself as the best in Charlotte for post-op care.

The site describes Wood Therapy as an ancient technique perfected in Colombia. Skin care includes RF Skin Tightening, which uses radiofrequency energy to heat the skin and is aimed at wrinkles and sagging skin.

Two monthly memberships are open to existing clients only and carry no cancellation fee. The Self Care Membership, at $65 per month, includes one 60-minute massage with free aromatherapy each month, discounts on additional massages, a choice of a free hot stone, shea butter or foot scrub, and special deals on 90-minute massages. The Total Self Care Membership, at $95 per month, includes one 90-minute massage with free aromatherapy and hot towels each month, discounts on additional massages, special deals on 60- and 90-minute massages, and two massage transfers every three months.

The stated aim is that each client has a good experience and understands the changes they are working toward, with post-op care adjusted to recovery stage.
