MASQ is a private skincare studio in Redondo Beach, located in a suite inside Phenix Salon Suites. The studio describes itself as a soothing space and says its aim is skin health, balance and longer-term results.

Facials are customized to the skin on the day rather than following one set routine. Options range from a breakout-focused facial for inflamed or persistent acne and congestion, to calming work for reactive, flushed or barrier-compromised skin, to hydrating facials for dry, tight or sensitized skin. A Custom Signature Facial is built around the client's concerns and includes red light therapy and a custom mask, and an Extended version gives more time to the client's top concern.

The studio also offers Hydrafacial-based treatments, including a Bespoke Deluxe Hydrafacial where the client chooses a booster, and a Geneo Glo2go Facial that uses oxygen bubbles, ultrasound and lymphatic massage. Brow services include a face-mapped brow shape using soft wax and tweezing, and a semi-permanent brow lamination that straightens and sets brow hair for up to eight weeks. Body waxing is available from the face and brows down to the legs and back.

Clients can book single services or packages, including a Brazilian Smooth Series, a Brow Sculpt Series for clients who return every three to four weeks, and a Glow Flex Series that pairs Hydrafacial and Geneo sessions. Gift cards are sold through Square. Bookings are made by appointment, with hours on weekdays and Saturday running from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, Wednesday until 7:00 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Each appointment is tailored to the client's skin on the day, combining technique with restorative care and moving at an unhurried pace.
