Mashitha's Hairstudio opened in 2019. Its founder, Mashitha Ifthikar, had already opened a salon in Sri Lanka in 2000. The studio is at 15 South New York 303, Unit 5, in Congers.

Hair services are at the center of the menu: cuts, blowdries, wash and dry, and men's haircuts, along with color that ranges from root touchups and glazes through highlights and balayage. Tape-in and K-tip extensions are offered, and hair treatments include Ceylon Ayurveda hair growth oil, Qiqi frizz control and straightening, Magic Sleek, Metal Detox and a PRF hair treatment.

Skin services run alongside the hair menu, including several facials, microdermabrasion, acne microneedling, exosome brightening with microneedle, a PRF facial and Botox. Brow and lash work includes microblading, eyebrow shaping and tinting, and a growth serum. Waxing, Ceylon makeup, scalp rituals and Ceylon back treatments are also on the menu.

Bridal work can be done at the salon or on location. Options include a wedding hair consultation, bridal and bridesmaid hair, bridal and event makeup, and a bridal hair and makeup package.

Booking goes through the salon's Glossgenius page, where clients choose a professional and a service category. Gift cards are sold through the website. Deposits are required for many services, such as $110 for full color and $192.50 for balayage. Cancelled or no-show appointments are charged 50% of the service total. The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM.

Individual attention runs through the menu: every perm starts with a personalized consultation, and the customized facial is built around each client.
