Founder Martino Cartier is a celebrity stylist and TV personality, and the salon has been featured on Bravo TV.

Earlier in his career, Martino Cartier spent six years as International Artistic Director for Keratin Complex, followed by two years as Global Artistic Director for Hotheads. The salon's team has taken part in shows at the Waldorf Astoria Intercoiffure in New York and the Fontainebleau Intercoiffure in Miami Beach. The salon has also run in-house education sessions led by The Doves, Kris Sorbe and Anthony Cole. Coverage of the salon has appeared in Vogue, Salon Today, Launchpad, Modern Salon Magazine, Behind the Chair and The Golden Globes.

Giving is central to the business. Martino Cartier founded Wigs & Wishes, a charity that operates through a national network of salons to grant wigs to women and last wishes to children battling cancer. Cut-a-thon fundraisers have supported local families in need, and one fundraiser for a family with a terminally ill child raised over $20,000 in a single day. Hair replacement is offered at no charge to women undergoing chemotherapy.
