Both salons are open daily from 10am to 6pm. Walk-ins are welcome, though booking ahead is recommended. A credit card is needed to hold an appointment and is charged only after the visit, or if a cancellation or no-show applies. Payment is cashless: cards are accepted, checks are not. Manicurists take tips in cash or by Venmo, and the salon suggests a 20% to 25% gratuity. Phone and video calls are discouraged during visits.

The core manicure and pedicure menu is built in tiers. The Marlowe Mani and Marlowe Pedi are the base services, with a warm soak, shaping, cuticle care, massage and polish or buff. The Big Sur and California tiers add a sugar scrub, hot towels, longer massage, or a warm hydrating mask. Gel versions of each tier are available with single-color gel polish. Add-ons include gel removal for soak-off gel, French and chrome finishes, cat eye finishes, callus care, polish changes, nail art and stickers.

The business describes its approach as clean nail care with fair labor standards for staff. Clients' nails are the only thing worked on. Instruments are cleaned in an onsite Clean Room, using ultrasonic cleaning and then autoclave sterilization, and disposable tools are used for every visit. Marlowe also hosts parties for birthdays, bridal showers, corporate events and kids' celebrations.
