Mariposa Day Spa has operated on First Street in historic downtown Snohomish since 2006. Mary and Bill Lee describe themselves as the spa's new owners. The entrance is on the lower patio level, reached by stairs down from the street, and the spa describes its building as one of the finest renovated buildings in historic Snohomish. The legal entity is Mariposa Spa LLC.

About

Services cover massage therapy, facials, an infrared sauna and halotherapy suite, and wellness experiences. Aromatherapy runs through many treatments, using essential oils the spa describes as 100% wild-crafted, from suppliers it says follow responsible harvesting practices. Spa Escape bundles pair a massage with a facial, and monthly memberships provide recurring sessions with a 60-day rollover of unused visits while active.

The spa describes itself as body positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and welcoming to people of all races, body types and genders. Spa parties are held in a private suite for groups of up to six guests, and include robes, slippers, sauna access and 10% off products and services. They are offered for groups of three or more booking massage or facial services.

Gift cards are available, and essential oil blends are sold in the boutique. Cancellations with 24 hours' notice or more are not charged. Cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead are charged 50% of the service price, and cancellations under 4 hours ahead are charged in full, both to the card on file. A friend or family member may attend in the guest's place to avoid the fee.
