Mania Hair Studio traces its beginnings to a barbershop opened in Park Ridge, New Jersey, in 1975. The studio now operates on Park Avenue and brings several kinds of beauty service together in one location.
Services cover hair, makeup, nails, waxing for the face and body, and organic spray tanning. Clients check in at the front desk on arrival and are given a cape during services. Plastic bags are available for purses, though the studio is not responsible for lost, damaged or soiled clothing or personal items.
Booking and payment terms are set out in advance. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged the full cost of the scheduled services, and arriving more than 10 minutes late may mean being asked to reschedule, with services adjusted where possible.
The studio charges a $2 service fee per visit, which it attributes to supplier and other price increases. Gratuities are at the client's discretion and cannot be added to credit card payments. Gift cards, virtual or physical, are redeemed at the front desk with the gift card ID number.
The website displays a Best of Bergen badge covering the years 2001 to 2026. This is the studio's own display of the award.
