The business has gone by several names. The Lewisville location began on Valley Ridge Blvd in 2005 under the name VIP Nails. Around 2006, the Austin location opened in the Four Points and Steiner Ranch area as Deluxe Nails. In 2025, new ownership brought both under the name Mani & Pedi Nail Spa. The Austin page describes the business as woman-owned. According to the salon, its prices stayed at a level regulars could already afford after those changes.

Appointments can be booked online, which the salon says takes about two minutes, or by phone at 512-342-8033 for Austin and (972) 353-5454 for Lewisville. Walk-ins are accepted at both locations. Group and same-day appointments are often available in Lewisville. Austin is closed on Mondays and open Tuesday through Saturday 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Lewisville is closed on Mondays, open Tuesday through Friday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Every service comes with a complimentary drink, such as red or white wine, soda or bottled water, and mimosas are offered on Saturdays and Sundays. The salon states the menu price is what clients pay, with no surprise charges at checkout. Appointments are booked for the time the work needs rather than being rushed. Tools are sterilized between appointments, and clients who are not happy with manicure color work can say so before leaving so it can be corrected.

Waxing is performed by licensed estheticians, and hard wax is used for facial and intimate areas. Each waxing visit opens with a consultation on skin type, sensitivities and past reactions, and first-time clients get a full walkthrough of the steps. Lash extensions at Lewisville are applied by licensed lash technicians after a one-on-one consultation on look, natural lash length and curl, and lash style.

Appointments are scheduled for the time the work takes, and tools are sterilized between clients. Technicians adjust their technique for clients with sensitive heels, old foot injuries or skin conditions.
