The studio runs five locations in Port Orange, Lake Mary, Ormond Beach, Oviedo and DeLand, serving the surrounding Central Florida area. Its specialty is hand method sugaring, and it offers facial and body hair removal alongside brow tinting and lash lift and tint. The studio describes itself as offering the best alternative to waxing in Central Florida, which is its own claim.
Every visit begins with a consultation where time and sugar upcharges are discussed. Body services are grouped into women's and men's menus, and the studio asks clients to book according to current anatomy so they are matched with a specialist trained for that area. Some men's prices are higher than the women's equivalents, which the business attributes to longer specialist training and a smaller number of specialists trained on those services. Men booking facial sugaring, other than eyebrows, nose or ears, need a consultation first.
Booking involves a valid card on file, which is only charged for late cancellations, reschedules or no-shows. Changes made within 24 hours, including rebooking within that window, carry a 25% fee, and a no-show is charged 50% of the service price. Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may be rescheduled, or more than 5 minutes late for services of 15 minutes or less. First-time clients are asked to arrive 10 minutes early. Walk-ins are welcome when a specialist is available at any of the five studios. Gift cards and packages can be used within one year, are non-refundable and non-transferable, and all gift card, package, service and product sales are final.
Brow tinting is a semi-permanent tint matched to skin tone and hair color, and the color typically lasts about three to four weeks before fading to a natural finish. Lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that curls natural lashes from the base, and lash tinting darkens light or fine lashes. Lash lift and tint is the studio's newest service. Aftercare products include the Sugar Care by MamaBare line, which features shea butter with Nangai oil, and Recover Soothing Gel, which can be used after sugaring, sun exposure or shaving.
Hours are Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 7pm and Saturday from 9am to 5pm, with the studios closed on Sunday and Monday. Spanish is spoken at the Lake Mary, Ormond Beach and DeLand studios.
The studio uses hand method sugaring with a paste it describes as made from lemon juice, sugar and water, without strips, spatulas or burning hot wax. It presents sugaring as gentler and more precise than waxing, and states that it is hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin and skin conditions.
