Makeupology is a brow and lash studio at 726 Belle Street in Alton, Illinois. Its services include brow shaping, tinting, lamination and Korean lash lifts, along with two add-on facial treatments that can be booked alongside them.
The studio grew out of an interest in beauty education and gradually became focused on brows and lashes. Its founder, Meghan, works from the view that less makeup is needed when brows and lashes are done well, so the work aims at refinement, structure and subtle enhancement.
Visits are by appointment only, and a credit card is required to reserve any appointment. The studio says it was featured in Voyage STL and that it was voted Best Eyebrow Shaping in Madison County.
Work is built around refinement, structure and subtle enhancement, with the aim that well-done brows and lashes reduce the need for makeup.
