Makeup by Mindie

Established in 2013, Makeup by Mindie is based at 324 Main Street South in downtown Stillwater. The salon is open by appointment on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and is closed on Mondays and Sundays.

Salon makeup applications are booked online. On-location applications and travel inquiries go through email, and the studio no longer travels more than 1.5 hours from the Stillwater area. Destination weddings are the exception and are priced separately.

Professional makeup applications are offered for nights out, parties, weddings, proms, photoshoots, headshots, maternity photos, pageants, fitness sessions, showers, bachelorette parties and family photos. Pricing includes a $120 application with lashes included, an $85 makeup option for high school senior photos, and a $50 option for children 12 and younger. An airbrush add-on for $20 can be added on the day of the appointment.

For weddings, the salon suggests reserving the date at least a year ahead because demand is high. Bridal trials take place at the salon, last about an hour, run Tuesday through Thursday and can be booked online up to 3.5 months in advance. Trials include photos so the client can review the look, and clients may bring inspiration photos and a mom or close friend. Bridal trials are scheduled after the wedding is booked. Bridal party members book their trial by scheduling a Professional Makeup Application. Wedding Day Makeup is offered for brides and bridal parties.

If a bridal trial cannot be completed, the package price stays the same, and the application cannot be transferred or discounted. The salon also describes makeup as one of the less costly parts of a wedding day.

Brands and products are selected for each client's skin type, how long the makeup needs to last, how it photographs and how easily it applies.
