Every visit begins with a consultation tailored to the client's nail and skin condition. Services follow a proprietary precision method that puts nail and skin health first. Manicures and pedicures use professional e-file techniques to clean and refine the cuticle area, and pedicures are done without soaking the feet.

The studio works only with gel systems, choosing gel and health-focused formulas, some imported from Europe and Canada. Visits generally run between one and three hours, varying with the service and any design add-ons. Nails should arrive bare and clean; acrylic, dip and other non-gel products must be completely removed beforehand, and acrylic removal isn't offered. According to the salon, its sanitation meets hospital-grade standards.

Booking requires a 50% deposit of the service total. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, and it is applied to the service total on the day. Clients have a 10-minute grace period for late arrival, after which the appointment is canceled and the deposit forfeited. A no-show forfeits the deposit, and after two no-shows future bookings may be denied. Walk-ins are not offered. Guests, pets and children are not permitted unless they are receiving a service, though trained service animals are welcome. Cash, debit cards and credit cards are accepted.

Imani also offers private one-on-one training for nail professionals. Options include a one-day Hard Gel Overlay session, and three-day Dual Forms and Precision Pedicure classes that include supplies and lunches. Training is held at the founder's private studio in Palm Desert, California, and the address is provided at booking confirmation.
