Main Line Electrolysis

Main Line Electrolysis is run by owner electrologist Amarilis Stricker from an office at 915 Montgomery Avenue in Narberth. Services are by appointment only, and new clients start with a free consultation that covers their hair removal goals, the cost of treatment and a treatment plan.

Sessions are booked in 15, 30, 45 or 60 minute blocks and use either the short wave or the blend method. Cataphoresis is available as an optional step after treatment to help restore the skin. Treatable areas include the face, lips, chin, cheeks, eyebrows, neck, chest, breasts, abdomen, back, arms, hands, underarms, legs and toes.

New clients complete a health history questionnaire, and that information is kept confidential. A new sterile probe is used at the start of every appointment and discarded after each session, and the office is cleaned and sanitized before appointments. The practice serves transgender clients, including transgender men, and offers men's services such as stray hairs on the back and shoulders, thinning chest and arm hair, unibrow, ingrown hairs and hair in tattooed areas.

Plans are set after a free consultation, and the number of sessions depends on heredity, medications, hormones and any current hair removal methods.
